So in my design career, I haven’t really done much with web design. When the web first came about, print designers heard that “there will be no more printed materials in 5 years!” Apparently, just as the metric system didn’t take over the US (yes, we are that stubborn), everyone still likes a hand held catalog.
However, to build a freelance design business it’s become natural to host design samples on a website to reach your intended audience. As a designer, I have all sorts of ideas in my head and I will continue to try and get them onto this website – but web design is new for me (as of this morning) and I feel the learning curve! Since I only seem to learn by doing, my best friend Google and I are off to begin the process of learning more about web design.
This is also how I learned:
to produce videos in Adobe Rush,
fix all of the windows in my home,
construct a successful (to date) 45ft french drain,
cut down a 40ft tree with no damage to any nearby property,
build a small retainer block wall,
other projects on the horizon…
